Do you have a son, daughter, niece, nephew, brother or sister who might be interested in a fun, summer learning experience related to science, technology, engineering, math or health care (STEM-H)? If so, then you’ll want to check out STEM-H in the Summer at John Tyler.
In July and August, Tyler and its partners will hold classes and camps designed for rising 4th – 12th graders. Each opportunity is unique and will give students a creative, hands-on way to explore their inner scientist, coder, builder, mathematician and more.
Camp and class opportunities include IT camps, a machining class, a number of hands-on classes led by the MathScience Innovation Center through its Camp Innovation program, and a Health Care Explorers Camps held by the Southside Health Education Foundation’s Health Career Explorers Camp. All camps and classes will take place at Tyler’s Chester or Midlothian campuses.
