Update your calendars! Because of Tyler’s recent weather closings, the college is extending some important deadlines. These extensions impact financial aid students who need to purchase textbooks; some students in 16-Week Session (Regular Session) classes; students who are thinking about signing up for a 12-Week Session course; and students who need to pay for their classes.
Financial Aid Students
The deadline to purchase textbooks at the Bookstores on Tyler’s campuses has been extended to Friday, January 29.
Students Taking 16-Week Session Classes
If you need to drop a 16-week class, the deadline to drop with a refund has been extended to Friday, January 29. If you need assistance dropping a class, you may visit the Admissions and Records Office on either campus (visit www.jtcc.edu/admissions/admissions-and-records-office/ for locations and hours) or e-mail admissionsandrecords@jtcc.edu.
Students Interested in Signing up for 12-Week Classes
If you are thinking about signing up for one or more 12-Week Session Classes, you now have until Friday, January 29 to register and pay for your class (or classes).
Paying Tuition
The tuition deadline has been extended to Friday, January 29. By that date, anyone who signed up for classes from January 16 – January 29, must pay all their tuition and fees. Tuition and fees may be paid online through the Student Information System in my Tyler or by visiting the Business Office at either campus. Business Office locations and hours may be found at www.jtcc.edu/services/business-office/.
