Get ready to make it work. The Assignment Runway Fashion Show kicks off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 in Hamel Hall, Room 109, on the Midlothian Campus. The show will feature looks by seven student designers in the College’s Garment Construction for Fashion Design course: Ashley Hopp, Tereasa Kaai, Rupneet Kaur, Chelsea Medua, Quenese Person, Christina Pugh and Patricia Rodriguez.
Each student created one stylized look that will be modeled on the runway, as well as selected a theme and style of music to match their garment’s look. Micah Sobczyk, the musician for the show, composed music for each look.
The event is free and open to the public.
