Tutors in Tyler’s Academic Resource Center (ARC) are available and ready to help students taking summer classes. If you need assistance with better understanding your course subject or would just like to know someone is available to answer your question if you stuck as you study, the ARC can help.
Drop-in Tutoring: This service is offered Monday – Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the Virtual ARC through Zoom. During these times, tutoring is offered on a variety of subjects, such as writing, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), business, study skills, tech help and more. Drop-in Tutoring allows you to have a focused session with a tutor or you can drop in while you’re studying, keep the Virtual ARC open in the background, and ask questions as needed.
Appointments: If the Drop-in Tutoring hours don’t work for your schedule, you can submit a request for an after-hours appointment, and the ARC will do the best it can to accommodate the times that work with your schedule. These appointments, which will be held using Zoom, are subject to tutor availability.
