Earn college credit while immersing yourself in the Italian culture through Tyler’s Summer 2019 Study Abroad Program. The trip, scheduled for late June/early July, currently includes stops in Rome, Assisi, Padua, Verona, Venice, Vicenza, Florence, Parma, and Siena, where participants will explore art, historical sites, museums, theatres, and more.

Classes associated with this trip include CST 100: Principles of Public Speaking; CST 130: Introduction to Theatre; ART 101: History and Appreciation of Art I; and ART 213: Italian Art 1. All courses are three credits and may fulfill some of your required courses related to arts and humanities or transfer elective requirements. Students should discuss these course options with their faculty advisors.

The trip is open to all Tyler students, employees and members of the community. Trip participants are not required to register for a Tyler Summer Abroad class, but all are required to stay with the travel group and take part in all planned activities.
