The talents of Tyler’s art students will be on display as the college holds its annual Juried Student Art Show. Dozens of pieces of art, representing a wide variety of mediums such as painting, photography, ceramics, 3D sculpture and graphic art, will be on exhibit.
The show opening takes place Friday, April 6 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the Midlothian Campus in Eliades Hall, room E107. During that time, this year’s juror, Cindy Myron, interim assistant chair of Craft/Material Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University, will announce the show winners. Guests will also have an opportunity to talk to the artists, and refreshments will be served courtesy of the Art Club. All are invited to attend. Admission is free.
This year’s Juried Student Art Show is part of Tyler’s Literary Festival.
