Student Ambassadors serve as representatives of the College and work within the Office of Student Engagement. Selected students participate in the planning and facilitating of new student orientation, recruitment of new students, meeting with prospective students, representing the college at various functions, providing guided campus tours, frequently staff welcome tables, and work information booths. Additionally, Student Ambassadors work scheduled office hours in the Office of Student Engagement.
JTCC Student Ambassadors are current JTCC students who are committed to supporting and promoting the college.
Potential Ambassadors must:
• Be currently enrolled in at JTCC.
• Be in good academic standing with JTCC, and maintain a 2.0 GPA during their employment as an ambassador.
• Possess strong communication and leadership skills.
• Be reliable and hardworking.
• Passionate about JTCC.
