CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – Interested in a career related to engineering or computer science? Then mark your calendars for John Tyler Community College’s Engineering Transfer Night on October 26, 2016. During this event, you can find out how to save money by starting your bachelor’s degree work at Tyler, and learn how guaranteed admissions agreements can help you seamlessly transfer from Tyler to a four-year college or university to complete your bachelor’s degree. Plus, you can talk to admissions officers from some of the four-year institutions to which you can transfer after completing a degree at Tyler, including Hampton University, James Madison University, Old Dominion University, Sweet Briar College, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Virginia Tech.
High school students and their parents; current Tyler students; and anyone who wants to know more about getting an education that leads to in-demand careers in engineering and computer science are invited to attend Tyler’s Engineering Transfer Night. The event will be held from 5:00 – 7:15 p.m. inside the T Building at the college’s Midlothian Campus, located at 800 Charter Colony Parkway. The 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. session will include additional information that high school students and their families may find helpful.
