If you are interested in taking classes during the Spring 2016 semester, you can still sign up for your courses – even during the winter break. John Tyler Community College will be closed from 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23 to 8:00 a.m. Monday, January 4. During that time, students may still register for spring classes through the Student Information System in myTyler.
During the holiday break, we will not be able to provide in-person help with registration, but we will be offering limited assistance through e-mail. So, if you have questions or find that you need help with the registration process, please e-mail admissionsandrecords@jtcc.edu.
Please remember, if you sign up for spring classes between now and January 4 (including on January 4), your tuition and fees must be paid by 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4, so that you are not dropped from your classes.
When the College reopens in 2016, the Admissions and Records Office, Advising Center (formerly known as the Counseling Center), Financial Aid Office, Military and Veterans Education Office and the Business Office will have extended hours on both campuses. These offices will be open from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 4 – Thursday, January 7 and Monday, January 11 – Thursday, January 14.
