Thanks to your generosity, John Tyler Community College filled the back of a van with a variety of gifts for Fort Lee’s Holiday Helper program. Tyler’s faculty, staff and students from the College’s Chester and Midlothian campuses, Nursing Education Center and Featherstone donated dolls, games, puzzles, books, gloves, hats, bibs, gift cards, baby toys, action figures, craft kits, stuffed animals and monetary gifts. Tyler’s own Mike Murphy delivered the gifts to Fort Lee. This year, the Holiday Helper program is assisting 1,100 children whose parents are deployed or whose families are currently in need.
