Where can kids build LEGO® machines, learn the science behind racing cars, discover unusual creatures, become a disease detective, or explore the wonders of chemistry? Camp Innovation is the place to be.
Presented by the MathScience Innovation Center (MSiC), John Tyler Community College will host Camp Innovation at the Midlothian and Chester campuses this summer. Offering week-long classes to students going into 4th grade through 9th grade, Camp Innovation is packed with adventure, creativity, exploration and design. Each class offers students the opportunity to learn about STEM fields with programs on biology, computer technology, engineering and more.
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Get students started with a STEM education now, and you'll set them up for in-demand careers of the future.
