CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – Are you interested in starting or continuing your college education? Do you need to earn teacher recertification credits? Are you a career switcher looking for new skills? Are you a student at a four-year college or university who will be home for the summer and wants to catch up on a class or get ahead? Or, are you looking for a fun and creative way to explore your interests? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then John Tyler Community College is the place for you this summer.

To help you juggle work, family and fun with your classes, John Tyler’s summer schedule is flexible. It includes day, evening, weekend, online and hybrid (partially online and partially in the classroom) courses offered in 5-Week, 8-Week and 10-Week session lengths. And, because balancing your budget is important, we work to keep our classes affordable. Currently, tuition and fees at John Tyler are just over one third the tuition and fees charged at a four-year public college or university in Virginia.
