All John Tyler Community College degree graduates now have the opportunity to pursue a bachelor’s degree thanks to an articulation agreement between the University of Richmond’s School of Professional and Continuing Studies (SPCS) and John Tyler. The agreement, signed on September 5 by JTCC President Edward “Ted” Raspiller and UR President Ed Ayers, will allow students who graduate from Tyler with an associate of art, associate of science, associate of applied art, or associate of applied science degree and a minimum of a 2.0 grade point average to easily transition into a bachelor’s degree program at UR’s SPCS. Students who use this agreement will be able to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies in Emergency Services Management, a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies in Human Resource Management, a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies in IT Management, or a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies in Paralegal Studies.
